Our Story
Geoff and Caitie, met in Washington State. Geoff and his wife Kristi were designing a bathroom and
laundry room for their home and needed the expertise from a professional designer. Caitie was highly
recommended to us for her expertise in built-in furniture and design. Geoff’s Company, Trickett
Woodworks, began using Caitie McQuaid of CM Fresh Perspectives for all of their cabinet drawings and
design. The business relationship continued to grow and Caitie moved CM Fresh Perspectives to Denver,
CO. Geoff and Caitie have become business partners and formed T & M Custom Built-in’s which will
be serving the Denver area and beyond. We are very thankful to provide the highest quality custom
cabinetry backed by the best customer service. We look forward to serving you!
Meet The Team
Having started her college education in business and art at 16, her interest in fine art and architecture led her to studying design at Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Illinois. She later completed her degree in Interior Architecture and Design from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.
Caitie’s mission is about inspiring fresh and innovative designs that reflect her client’s individuality. Her designs focus on keeping the client’s needs and vision a priority. The result allows each individual’s style to emerge into a design that will inspire and promote their sense of self. Her design process is pragmatic (how should the space be laid out to flow and function well?) as well as creative/conceptual (what idea or feeling will ground and focus the design?). Caitie’s clients often tell her she seems like both a trusted advisor and a close friend!
I have always enjoyed working with my hands, so I trained under my father, and he trained under my grandfather. Over the years I have been able to perfect my woodworking skills and abilities, creating quality custom cabinets and personable customer service, walking you through the process, answering all your questions and staying in close contact until your project is expertly built and carefully installed.
The most rewarding part of this journey has been the ability to offer authentic high-end quality product built to your specifications using the finest American made materials that will last for generations to come.
Josh, Owner of Carlino Finishing, has been involved in the home remodeling business for the last 6 years. Josh took the skills and knowledge he learned over the years of painting luxury custom homes and started Carlino Finishing with quality and design in mind.
Before starting Carlino Finishing, Josh worked in the custom cabinetry industry where he mastered the craft. Josh became passionate in the finishing department and soon became an expert in the field completing refinishing and refacing jobs over many years. Josh has taken lead on hundreds of kitchen refinishing jobs throughout his career and from this has developed one of the most efficient and quality finishes that you can come across.
Josh’s goal at Carlino Finishing is to bring his past experience and provide a service that is near impossible to replicate. Perfection is the standard at Carlino Finishing and Josh will go the extra length to make sure you end up with the quality you deserve.
